Foundry-RPI

In our Foundry-RPI program, student entrepreneurs, builders, designers, and developers obtain feedback from their peers and learn the practices of entrepreneurship and management. Test your business model while receiving input and support from your classmates and gain tactical and leadership skill-building. More than 20 companies have been developed from Foundry-RPI program graduates, including VARA USA, Tumalow, Rollio, Embedit Electronics, MICROrganic Technologies, and Vital Vio.

This program is open to students from other colleges and universities in the region as well. The group even draws the local business community and alumni population as well.

Foundry-RPI helps individuals connect to the multitude of resources throughout the entrepreneurial ecosystem, including the technology park and other research and support centers on campus.

The Foundry system was created by Rensselaer graduate Rob Wuebker, Ph.D. ’09, an alumnus of the Rensselaer Lally School of Management, and is operated at Rensselaer by the Paul J. ’69 and Kathleen M. Severino Center for Technological Entrepreneurship.
