Dr. Vashishth is an experienced biomedical researcher and university leader who has successfully developed public-private partnerships, programs and platforms, to drive translational scientific research across disciplines. He is a dedicated, creative, and future-focused educator who also directs the NIH predoctoral T32 program that includes emphasis on life sciences-engineering interface, data analytics, technology transfer and entrepreneurship, and has an established record of recruiting and training predoctoral students from underrepresented minorities in STEM fields.
